Reese Jones is a biophysicist, inventor, and entrepreneur. He is the inventor of the CAT5 ethernet cable, and one of the original founders of Singularity University. Reese has contributed to over a dozen silicon valley startups growth including IPOs and acquisitions including Farallon, Netopia, Smaato, Genome Compiler, Cambrian Genomics, and Singularity University. He’s served on boards at the Santa Fe Institute and Harvard Medical School’s Genetics Council. Reese is a biophysicist and associate founder of Singularity University. A veteran of Silicon Valley, he has helped launch multiple companies, innovations, and patents. He likes building infrastructure companies for emerging technologies in health, biology, mobile, and internet.
